Transmission Fluid in A13: Get the Specification Right
This is where A13 stops being routine. Sub-item 3 means a transmission fluid replacement, and on Honda the fluid is not interchangeable. Conventional automatics take Honda ATF DW-1. Continuously variable transmissions — fitted to most recent Civics, HR-Vs and many Accords — take Honda HCF-2, and the two are not substitutes for one another.

Can I do the Honda A13 service myself?
